We are now entering an up-scaling phase and building a demo plant at Stora Enso’s Nymölla Mill, and we are looking to strengthening our team with a Development Manager.

YOU WILL

The construction of demonstration plant at Stora Enso’s Nymölla Mill has started in spring 2021. The raw material used at the plant will primarily be dissolving pulp. The aim is to significantly reduce the environmental footprint of the textile industry and to make sustainable textile fibers available to all.

As our Development Manager you will be responsible for developing production processes for our new, innovative man-made cellulosic fiber technology. You have an important role in the development of new production processes, from conceptual design to operation. You will contribute to process design, development, implementation, identifying problems in the production line and troubleshooting equipment. Further you will evaluate current process, optimize, and recommend new ideas and techniques to ensure project success. Develop and maintain process related documents including ensuring project 's timelines and budget are also important.

You will support the organization with your expertise, analyzing and diagnosing problems with help of data and liaising with the team to develop plans that improve the process. You can also plan and hold training / information in the current work area. You will report to our Head of production.


YOU ARE

We are looking for a strong individual with a can-do attitude that share our drive to bring sustainable materials to the wider market. You have engineering product/process development experience from research institutes or pulp/paper industry.

You have a MS or BS degree in Chemistry or Engineering or other relevant field, proficiency in MS Office, especially Microsoft Excel and have fluent skills in English language.

To fit the role, we believe it´s crucial that you possess planning and structure, but also can make decisions under pressure and being a proactive problem solver. You have the ability to remain calm in situations where the pace and pressure can increase. Further, you have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

YOU WILL

The construction of demonstration plant at Stora Enso’s Nymölla Mill will start in spring 2021. The raw material used at the plant will primarily be dissolving pulp. The aim is to significantly reduce the environmental footprint of the textile industry and to make sustainable textile fibers available to all.

The focus of the role is setting up and overseeing quality control measurements procedures. You will be managing the quality control laboratory and ensuring quality control work is done in a safe, efficient manner. Developing and testing the product properties by running it in the yarn spinning lab, in co-operation with TTT Textile expert will also be in focus.

You will support the organization with your expertise, analyzing and diagnosing problems with help of data and liaising with the team to develop plans that improve fiber quality. You will report to our Plant Manager and to our Textile expert.

YOU ARE

We are looking for a strong individual with a can-do attitude that share our drive to bring sustainable materials to the wider market. You have experience in quality control standards and quality control best industry practices, and you have a strive and passion to use data and analysis as basis for decision making. Your experience can be from research institutes, plastic, pulp/paper or chemical industry.

You have a MS or BS degree in Chemistry or Engineering or other relevant field, proficiency in MS Office, especially Microsoft Excel and have fluent skills in English language.

To fit the role, we believe it´s crucial that you possess planning and structure, but also can make decisions under pressure and being a proactive problem solver. Further, you have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
